July 24

10:01 a.m. – Christopher Hill, 23, of Idaho, arrested on warrant, for giving false information to police officer, 29800 block Santiam Terrace Road. Report taken.

10:36 a.m. – Electrical wire to a pump hose reported stolen from 43500 block North River Drive, value $200. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

2:50 p.m. – Rip Rock Specialized brand bicycle, dark purple in color, valued at $750, reported stolen from River Bend Campground, 45900 block Hwy. 20. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

8:21 p.m. – Deputy located group camped illegally near Milepost 16 on Quartzville Road. They were advised to pack up and directed to legal campsite.

11:01 p.m. – Gregory Gibbs, 60, of Sweet Home, cited for driving without valid license, driving uninsured. Riggs Hill Road/Wiley Creek Drive.

July 25

9:52 a.m. – Caller reports male behind Bi-Mart building on the northeast corner in a sleeping bag, 1980 Main St, requests he be trespassed. Allen Ensley, 34, cited and released for theft by receiving.

11:12 a.m. – Darrell Mullenix, 49, cited and released for second degree criminal trespass, Dollar Tree, 2414 Main St.

4:43 p.m. – Cameron Michael Wark, 33, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to comply on an original charge of second degree criminal trespass and failure to appear on original charges of third degree theft X2 and giving false information to a police officer, Linn County Jail.

4:52 p.m. – Rachell Ann Gandrud, 42, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.

5:12 p.m. – Caller reports fuel line was cut on motorhome, 4199 Main St. Approximate damage value $224.

6:30 p.m . – Ryan Harris, 40, of Lebanon, arrested for fourth-degree domestic violence-assault, domestic violence-menacing, harassment and five outstanding warrants. Harris was camping with a significant other when an argument ensued. The argument escalated to the point where it became physical. Transported to Linn County Jail. Report taken.

10:07 p.m. – Stacy Manuel Teixeira, 58, cited and released on Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear on an original second degree charge, 2200 block Main St. Also cited for driving with a suspended license.

10:27 p.m. – Berneice Davis, 19, of Sweet Home, cited for driving without privileges, driving without required lighting, 3100 block Hwy. 20.

July 26

8:52 a.m. – George Earl Scott Shawn Dunn, 21, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St.

3:23 p.m. – Deputy located new camp, trash in 43500 block North River Drive. Campers warned for illegal camping and vacated site. Trash reported to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

July 27

1:06 a.m. – Non-injury motor vehicle crash reported in 25300 block Brush Creek Road. Joseph Campagna, 39, of Merced, Calif., driving a 1998 Freightliner, left the travel lane and struck a 2022 Ford F350 driven by Tommy Thomas, 59, of Springfield. The Freightliner went down an embankment before coming to rest. Neither driver was injured, vehicles were towed.

5:00 a.m. – Jhenna Marie Lynn Lance, 29, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of second degree criminal trespass X2, Albany Police Department.

7:50 a.m. – Luke Thomas Ludwig, 37, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second degree criminal mischief, Corvallis Police Department.

2:24 p.m. – Caller reports her brother is intoxicated in the front yard at her home and she would like him moved along, 1130 18th Ave. Brent Anthony Prather, 35, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second degree criminal trespass.

2:35 p.m. – Disturbance reported at Sunnyside Park, 44900 block Quartzville Road. Three males were intoxicated and yelling at a park ranger, saying they had no authority. Deputies contacted the males and they were issued a 30 day trespass order by the ranger from Sunnyside Park.

3:23 p.m. – Raymond Wayne Littell, 47, cited and released for driving with suspended license, 1200 block 55th Ave.

4:50 p.m. – Caller reports male stole alcohol, 7-Eleven, 2405 Main St. Report taken for third degree theft.

5:58 p.m. – Caller reports his neighbor is throwing trash onto his property, 2009 Willow St. Penny Lee Phillips, 54, cited and released for offensive littering and second degree criminal mischief.

8:41 p.m. – Deputy patrolling Quartzville Road up to Milepost 26 located two illegal fires on U.S. Forest Service land.

9:28 p.m. – Deputy took possession of two sets of found keys that were turned in to Sweet Home police after being found near Foster Lake. 1900 block Main St. Report taken.

July 28

10:31 a.m. – Caller reports male ran out with beer yesterday, Foster Lake Market, 5401 Main St. Approximate value $50.

11:45 a.m. – Caller reports attempted gas theft from toy hauler stored at 4691 Main St. Approximate value $50.

12:31 p.m. – Caller reported vehicle break-in at McDowell Creek Falls, 43100 block McDowell Creek Road. Caller’s window was broken and $30 worth of items missing. Investigation continuing. Report taken.

1:01 p.m. – Leanna Kay Lynn Smith, 36, cited on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of harassment, Lebanon.

3:52 p.m. – Caller was headed out of town camping and left a Smith & Wesson M&P .40 on his truck. Caller realized he left the firearm, and it was gone. Unknown where it fell off at. Deputy took lost firearm report, and firearm was entered as lost in national database. 41900 block Marks Ridge Drive.

5:48 p.m. – Non-injury crash reported in 29400 block Berlin Road. Levi Gaskey, 19, of Lebanon was operating vehicle. No citations. Report taken.

5:51 pm. – Deputies located cars parked in “no parking” area near second bridge on Quartzville Road. “Extra nice” deputy issued warnings rather than citations, according to Sheriff’s log.

8:11 p.m. – Deputy located group camping illegally on BLM land near Milepost 19 on Quartzville Road. They were advised to move to appropriate site.

8:13 p.m. – Deputy located group camped illegally on BLM land near Milepost 23½ on Quartzville Road, with illegal campfire. They were advised to douse fire, move to legal site.

8:20 p.m. – Deputy located group camped illegally on BLM land near Milepost 14 on Quartzville Road. They were advised to move to legal site and directed accordingly.

9:02 p.m. – Caller reports male assaulted female, 12th Avenue/Poplar Street. Officer responded, contacted female who states disturbance was verbal only, unable to locate male involved. Brooke Lynn Paige Brown, 49, arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of harassment and on a Lane County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

9:13 p.m. – Deputy contacted transients trying to camp on Army Corps of Engineers property near Milepost 3 on Quartzville Road. They were advised to pack up and be on their way.

July 29

4:45 a.m. – Sterling Daniel Sherburn, 23, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third degree theft, Lebanon Police Department.

9:19 a.m. – Deputies attempted to locate Kasaundra Marie Hails, 34, of Jefferson, who reportedly took a Jeep belonging to her ex-boyfriend, which contained more than $1,000 in currency and goods. According to Sheriff’s Office, Hails refused to return the vehicle or the items and was being sought. 28400 block Liberty Road. Report taken.

10:31 a.m. – Donald Dale Cliver, 70, in custody for driving under the influence of intoxicants, 320 11th Ave.

12:50 p.m. – Marine Patrol deputies cited the following individuals on Foster Lake: Austin Linnville, 25, of Sweet Home, no Type 4 throwable life preserver; Makayla Fields, 27, of Salem, no personal flotation device; Tara Garkow, 43, of Eugene, no PFD; Mario Frausto, 43, of Eugene, no PFD; Kelly Moss, 55, of Lebanon, no PFD; Chelsey Rioux, 33, of Sweet Home, no PFD; Corin Rose, 33, of Clackamas, no PFD; and David Ortiz, 60, of Lebanon, no PFD. Report taken. 43700 block North River Drive.

3:25 p.m. – Mark Lee Avichouser, 66, cited and released for hit and run/property, 1106 Juniper St.

4:45 p.m. – Deputies responded to 51400 block Quartzville Road after report of disturbance involving firearm. An argument ensued over a target shooting area. Parties had separated upon law enforcement arrival. Investigation continuing. Report taken.

5:12 p.m. – Samantha Kastup, 32, of Clackamas, arrested for DUII, reckless driving, 47300 block Quartzville Road. Report taken.

8:19 p.m. – Deputy located two groups camped illegally on BLM land at Milepost 16 on Quartzville Road. They were advised to pack up and move to legal site.

10:13 p.m. – Laura Rae Fanning, 52, cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants and criminal driving, Ashbrook Park.

11:53 p.m. – Jason Lelian Skelton, 46, cited and released for second degree disorderly conduct, Downtown Restaurant and Lounge, 1234 Main St.

July 30

6:16 a.m. – Caller reports his vehicle was entered and his ID card and vehicle registration were taken, 1310 45th Ave. Report taken for unauthorized entry into motor vehicles and third degree theft.

2:13 p.m. – Brezy Marie Pitts, 45, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of failure to present operating license, Umatilla County.

2:14 p.m. – Driver locked behind timber gate in 51100 block Canyon Creek Road was warned by deputy, who had conversation with driver regarding heeding signs and access to private timberlands.

2:46 p.m. – Timothy Hammock, 74, of Lebanon, cited by Marine Patrol deputy on Foster Lake for water skiing violation, 43700 block North River Drive. Report taken.

8:47 p.m. – John E. Gilmore, 72, cited for speeding 45/25, 1100 block Main St.

9:30 p.m. – Weston Curtis Jackson, 21, cited for speeding 52/35, west city limits Hwy 20.

9:54 p.m. – Justin Wayne Seibert, 35, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third degree theft, Albany Police Department.

11:20 p.m. – Macky Anna Hollings, 27, of Portland, arrested for domestic violence-menacing, unlawful use of a weapon, and coercion following disturbance reported in 41400 block Marks Ridge Drive. Transported to Linn County Jail. A male was reportedly providing a ride back to Portland to Hollings after visiting for a while. During the drive, they began to argue. The male didn’t want to drive all the way to Portland. Hollings produced a pocket knife and threatened the male to drive her to Portland.

July 31

12:20 a.m. – Natalie Marie Deshazer, 34, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of failure to appear on an original second degree charge, Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long St.
