June 26
12:19 p.m. – Caller reported that she was on BLM gravel road when she lost control of her vehicle, which hit a bank and flipped on its roof. Valerie Ledbetter, 20, of Myrtle Point was alone in the 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. She was not injured. A tow company removed the vehicle. 48600 block Quartzville Road.
12:36 p.m. – Caller reports someone took out an $800 loan with his information, 644 7th Ave. Report taken for identity theft and second degree theft.
2:10 p.m. – Christopher Barreras, 42, of Sweet Home, arrested and transported to Linn County Jail on warrant. Amanda Paugher, 25, of Sweet Home, arrested on warrant. 40900 block Hwy. 228. Report taken.
2:38 p.m. – Michael Ferrara, 40, cited for no valid driver’s license, 4000 block Main St.
3:38 p.m. – Dustin Clarneau, 48, cited and released for second degree criminal trespass and failure to register as a sex offender, 1266 15th Ave.
4:47 p.m. – Caller reports his license plate was stolen off of his vehicle, 1936 54th Ave. Approximate loss of value $50.
June 27
6:06 p.m. – Kyler King, 24, cited for failure to carry proof of insurance, 24th Avenue/Main Street.
7:39 p.m. – Douglas Wise, 40, cited for driving uninsured, 1600 block Long St.
7:55 p.m. – Hollie Lavern Gregory, 67, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second degree child neglect, 1300 block Main St. Also cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured.
8:04 p.m. – Victoria Santich, 24, cited for driving with a suspended license, Highway 228/Main Street.

9:56 a.m. – Kyle Anthony Carter, 32, arrested for failure to appear on an original charge of harassment, 1283 44th Ave. I5.
10:14 a.m. – Stephanie Diane Banta Butte, 52, cited and released for contempt of court, 1950 Main St.
11:53 a.m. – Michael Evan Matthews, 38, cited and released on Lebanon Justice Court warrant for first degree trespass and on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of a criminal citation, 22nd Avenue/Main Street.
1:17 p.m. – Jade Allen Green, 32, cited and released for offensive littering, 1950 Main St.
2:02 p.m. – Female caller reported having $150 stolen while camping at Cascadia County Park. Investigation ongoing.
8:11 p.m. – Thomas Ray Pimentel, 25, cited for driving with a suspended license and having no insurance, behind NAPA.
8:14 p.m. – Multiple callers report motor vehicle crash at 1st Avenue/Main Street. Officer responded, motorcycle towed. Damage to both vehicles under $2,500. Norma Ray Hutson, 58, cited and released for driving with a suspended license.
9:06 p.m. – Large pile of garbage reported dumped at BLM campsite, 44700 block Quartzville Road. Investigation continuing.
9:29 p.m. – Deputy located transient camp located near Milepost 26.5 on Quartzville Road. Occupants were advised to clean up littered site and vacate. Occupant of RV opened sewer line onto site, and left path of raw sewage for nearly 10 miles. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
June 29
9:45 a.m. – Deputies responded to tree across road, 28300 block Pleasant Valley Road.
12:06 p.m. – Caller reported incident, which had occured the previous day at Sunnyside Boat Ramp, in which large group of males were reportedly fighting and a weapon was displayed. 44900 block Quartzville Road. According to Sheriff’s Office, camp host was notified but didn’t alert park rangers or law enforcement. Investigation continuing. Report taken.
1:00 p.m. – Caller reported burglary, theft of 26-inch yellow mountain bike (unknown make/model) valued at $450, Maui Jim glasses valued at $300 (recovered in driveway) and wood-handled splitting maul valued at $40, 40500 block Comfort Lane. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
1:51 p.m. – 17-year-old arrested on Linn County Circuit Court warrant for fourth degree assault, 1950 Main St.
2:13 p.m. – Boat drifted into water polo course at Lewis Creek Park on Foster Lake, 44000 block North River Drive. According to Sheriff’s Office, the boat was occupied and anchored near a water polo tournament when a strong wind gust pulled the boat anchor. The boat drifted into the polo area, and the operator, who was not named, started the motor to move out of the area. This subsequently caught up the boundary rope into the prop and disabled the boat. The incident cause a long delay the polo tournament (see page 21).
4:55 p.m. – Caller reports customer drove off with gas pump still in vehicle, 890 Main St.
5:09 p.m. – Buzz Starr Dodson Jr., 25, cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal warrants for failure to comply on an original charge of second degree criminal trespass and failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving X2, 1950 Main St. Also cited and released on Hood River County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving.
5:41 p.m. – Sergio Cisneros, 28, of Lebanon, and Gina Robinson, 48, of Lebanon, cited for no life jacket, Foster Lake, 43700 block North River Drive. Report taken.
7:05 p.m. – Caller reports someone stole a pack of cigarettes and tent poles from him, Sweet Home Police Department parking lot, 1950 Main St. Report taken for third degree theft, approximate value $40.
7:42 p.m. – Heather Linn Thompson, 43, arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on original charges of second degree criminal mischief, second degree disorderly conduct, and second degree criminal trespass. Arrested on Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of unauthorized use of vehicle. Also arrested for offensive littering, 1950 Main St.
10:58 p.m. – Parker William Stephens-Tiley, 22, cited and released for second degree criminal trespass, 380 Strawberry Loop.
June 30
1:15 a.m. – Chaz Dean Cox, 26, arrested on Lewis and Clark County, Mont. warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of violating conditions of release X2, 4th Avenue/Highway 228.
1:47 a.m. – Parker William Stephens-Tiley, 22, cited and released for second degree criminal trespass, 380 Strawberry Loop.
