May 1
8 a.m. – Caller reported a male stealing items from Thriftway, 621 Main St. Report taken for third-degree theft. The value of these items was unknown. Kyle James Elmer, 31, was cited and released for third-degree theft.
8:48 a.m. – Brittny Anne Gibson, 34, of Sweet Home, was arrested on an Albany Municipal Court warrant after she was contacted for illegally camping at Foster Dam, 6100 block of Hwy. 20. Report taken.
9:58 a.m. – Deputy contacted two females illegally camped at Foster Lake, Marks Ridge/North River drives. They were warned and sent on their way.
10:05 a.m. – Multiple callers reported a male hitting a light pole with his vehicle, 18th Ave./Main St. The damage was unknown.
11:59 a.m. – George Earl Scott Dunn, 20, was arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree escape, possession of meth and second-degree disorderly conduct, and on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 600 block of Main St.
2:13 p.m. – Bickering neighbors were counseled on getting along, 28400 block of Ridgeway Road.
2:58 p.m. – Nickolas Ryan Shoulders, 33, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, Benton County Sheriff’s Office.
3:09 p.m. – Michael Morrill, 43, was cited for using a mobile device while driving, Mountain View Road/Kalmia St.
4:16 p.m. – Caller into the police department reported that a female had punched her daughter at Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long St. Report taken; investigation continuing.
4:18 p.m. – Caller reported a Chromebook stolen from son’s backpack, Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long St. Approximate loss of value: $400.
4:23 p.m. – Caller reported male playing loud music at his apartment and then leaving, 900 block of Long St. Lavern Bailey, 55, was cited for unnecessary noise.
5:55 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor’s dogs were loose, 4300 block of Long St. Another caller reported that a neighbor’s dogs had killed her cat. Jennifer Hayes, 38, was cited for dog as a public nuisance.
May 2
5:21 a.m. – Zoe Erin Kathleen Boynton, 23, was cited for speeding, Main St./4th Ave.
8:31 a.m. – Caller reported a homeless woman with a fire on private property, 2200 block of Tamarack St.. She was gone when deputy arrived.
9:18 a.m. – Garret Gutierrez, 18, was cited for speeding 45/25, 1100 block of Main St.
9:54 a.m. – Caller reported a student threatening to bring a knife to school to use against another, Oak Heights Elementary School, 605 Elm St. Officer responded and assisted.
3:15 p.m. – Caller reported finding a grenade in her deceased brother’s belongings, 800 block of Alder St. Device seized for destruction by bomb squad.
4:29 p.m. – Caller reported that an intoxicated male at Shear Country, 2312 Main St., had damaged her vehicle. Darrell Gene Mullenix, 48, was cited and released for second-degree criminal mischief and on Corvallis Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge X3.
8:34 p.m. – Officer located a male yelling and running on railroad tracks, 12th Ave./railroad tracks. Jason Michael Comer, 45, was cited and released for first-degree criminal trespass and resisting arrest.
10:13 p.m. – Allen Dale Ensley, 34, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Spoletos, 4804 Main St.
May 3
8:03 a.m. – Caller reported his daughter being hit and harassed by another juvenile at Sweet Home Junior High School, 880 22nd Ave. Officer responded and contacted the caller, who requested that the information be noted and would contact the department if the issues continued.
10:10 a.m. – Eric Edwin Steinborn, 45, was cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of a criminal citation, 3200 block of Main St.
12:57 p.m. – Officer located a homeless camp and stolen item at mill property, 43rd Ave. Report taken for offensive littering and second-degree theft.
1:40 p.m. – Deputy patrolling Cascade Timber Consulting property surveyed the area around SS 100 gate along Highway 20 for a transient camp after spotting a tent and garden cart.
3:15 p.m. – Deputy checked on a littering situation at milepost 11 on Upper Calapooia Drive. “Still no progress” on trash removal.
3:32 p.m. – Luke Thomas Ludwig, 37, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Corvallis Police Department.
5:26 p.m. – Cody Allen Bowman, 33, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second degree theft, NAPA Auto Parts, 899 Main St.
10:32 p.m. – Gerard Landon Frank, 47, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Deschutes County.
May 4
7:27 a.m. – Caller reported that a male who was threatening her had returned, 1500 block of Main St. Jason Michael Comer, 45, was arrested on a Linn County Parole & Probation detainer for probation violation.
8:42 a.m. – Deputy patrolling the Foster Lake area noted an increase of homeless in the day-use areas, “but they appear to be leaving at night.”
11:39 a.m. – Caller reported a stolen mountain bike, 4200 block of Main St. Report taken for second-degree theft. Approximate value: $250.
2:29 p.m. – Graydon Daniel Chapman, 19, was arrested on Sweet Home Police Department case for trafficking persons, encouraging first-degree child sexual abuse, using child in display of sexually explicit conduct, second-degree sexual abuse, third-degree sodomy and third-degree rape, 4300 block of Long St.
2:38 p.m. – Colton Robert Michael Rictor, 21, was arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for second-degree burglary, failure to appear on an original charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm and failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, and on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of third-degree theft, 2100 block of Main St.
3:48 p.m. – Caller reported a male threatening her, breaking her TV and stealing items, 28000 block of Riggs Hill Road. Officer responded. The man was either not at the location or hiding. Report taken for second-degree theft. Approximate value: $200.
5:57 p.m. – Caller reported that a male had taken $80 from him and attempted to steal his bike, 400 block of Main St. Report taken for first-degree burglary, third-degree theft X2 and harassment.
7:19 p.m. – Caller reported a male breaking into a house, 1300 block of 13th Ave.
7:23 p.m. – Gary Eugene Breshears was cited for no license and driving uninsured, 10th Ave./Main St.
7:29 p.m. – Cody Allyn Peterson, 36, was cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for driving with a suspended license, Pleasant Valley Road/North River Drive. Also cited for driving with a suspended license, driving uninsured and failure to install an ignition interlock device.
May 5
9:18 a.m. – Caller reported a black Ford Focus showing up overnight with its keys, 4300 block of Main St. Officer responded. The vehicle was moved off the property. Aleece Woods, 37, was cited and released on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft X2.
12:38 p.m. – Franklin Cutbirth, 41, was arrested on three warrants by the Sheriff’s Office and cited for driving while suspended, 1st Ave./West Holley Road. Report taken.
12:49 p.m. – Franklin Luster Cutbirth III, 41, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
1:56 p.m. – Kevin Earl Terwilliger, 60, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving, 1950 Main St.
4:09 p.m. – Linn County Sheriff’s Office reported a 13-year-old bicyclist hit by a vehicle, Oak Terrace/Terrace Lane.
4:17 p.m. – Sheriff’s mountain patrol deputies responded to a call for help regarding an 81-year-old male hiking Rooster Rock Trail, 54400 block of Hwy. 20. The man’s legs were giving out after several miles of hiking and he needed assistance to make it back down the trail. Deputies assisted the man in the last mile to return to his vehicle.
May 6
1:57 a.m. – Caller reported a customer fighting with his boss, Mr. Lucky’s Deli, 1207 Long St. Report taken for harassment.
7:51 a.m. – Michelle Shaddon, 47, and Alicia Shaddon, 25, both of Sweet Home, were cited and released on Linn County Justice Court warrants after a deputy conducted a welfare check on a juvenile in the 40300 block of Crawfordsville Drive. Report taken.
1:50 p.m. – An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Pleasant Valley Road. Deputy responded and seized the license plate, which didn’t belong on the vehicle. It was parked legally on private property. Report taken.
5:14 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle rear-ending another at a stop sign, 18th Ave./Long St. An involved white Ford then left the location and was last seen traveling eastbound on Long. An officer was unable to locate it. Report taken. Damage: over $2,500.
8:39 p.m. – Christopher Carr, 49, was cited for no driver’s license and for speeding 67/35, 2200 block of Main St.
May 7
8:21 a.m. – Caller reported a male checking car doors, Thriftway, 621 Main St. Another caller reported a male entering a vehicle and requested that the man be trespassed. The vehicle’s owner wanted to pursue charges. An officer responded and trespassed the male. Raymond Lyle Tressel, 27, was cited and released for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, attempted unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and third-degree theft.
12:06 p.m. – Cordell Lee Baxley, 58, was arrested for first-degree rape, Sweet Home Police Department, 1950 Main St.
1:55 p.m. – Triston Poteet, 27, of Sweet Home, was arrested for driving while suspended and Sandra Hendrix, 49, also of Sweet Home, was cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured following a non-injury crash on logging road off the 48300 block of Quartzville Road. Report taken.
2:40 p.m. – Mike Roles, 35, of Sweet Home, was arrested on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant, 35th Ave./Juniper St. Report taken.
9:47 p.m. – Caller reported being kidnapped and left at McDonald’s, 2000 Main St.

Warrants are out on the following individuals: Calvin Alvin Ames, Samuel Frank Ayers, Shenese Danielle Cobain, Ashlee Dee Flanagan, Aaron Thomas Halvorson, Isaac Booker Justham, Noe Hernandez-Reyes, Michael Trevor Hilton, Faron Walter Kennedy, Andrew Donald LeGore, Taylor Robert Mespelt, Carrie Lynne Miller, Kendra Lynne Montoya, Larry Robert Morgan, Julianne Nicole Phillips, Joseph Clayton Pritchett, Christopher Thomas Reed, Tammy Lavonn Robinson, Steven Edward Robinson, Paula Marie Lea Skyles-Lutzi, Zachary Shane Stegner and Cameron Michael Wark.
Calvin Alvin Ames, 57, was charged April 17 with first-degree criminal mischief for allegedly destroying U.S. Forest Service property.
Andrew Jacob Justin Cartwright, 36, was charged April 16 with second-degree burglary, first-degree arson and first-degree criminal mischief involving allegations concerning the fire at Fir Lawn Lutheran Church. Bail was set at $25,000, and Cartwright submitted a no-contest plea to the arson charge. He was also charged March 2 with third-degree robbery and third-degree theft for allegations involving Serrano’s Taqueria. He submitted a plea of no contest to the robbery charge.
Andrew Donald LeGore, 41, was charged April 4 with DUII, reckless driving, failure to carry or present a license, and resisting arrest.
Michael Allen Perry Jr., 35, was charged May 4 with two counts of felon in possession of a firearm.
Paul Levi Shelton, 33, was charged April 19 with two counts of fleeing or attempting to elude and two counts of reckless driving. He posted 10% of a $5,000 bail.
Richard Gene Stephens, 52, was charged April 24 with unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Jacob Mitchell Thurber, 31, was sentenced April 24 to two months with the Oregon Dept. of Corrections, 24 months post-prison supervision and a $200 fine based on a plea of no contest to failure to report as a sex offender.
