Trail volunteers invited to work day

Build Lebanon Trails will hold a work day at Riverview Park from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4. Anyone interested in volunteering should meet at the Riverview Park parking lot off Mountain River Drive near Riverview School (between Mayfly Street and Robbins Way).

The work day will focus on clearing leaves from the West River Trail section. Volunteers will work on a variety of maintenance tasks, trail clearing, bench cleanups and trash pickup. Wear closed-toe shoes, work gloves and good apparel for working in dirt and mud, and consider the possibility of rain.

If available, bring a personal tool of choice such as leaf blower, leaf rake, push brooms, trash grabbers or weed whackers. Mark your tools for identification. Loaner tools will also be available. Sorry, dogs are not allowed on work days.
All participants must sign-in for all BLT activities. The BLT sign-in form is a waiver of liability to participate and permission to appear in photos taken of the event. Check in with the leader if you decide to leave the group early.
