A smaller version of the annual turkey pageant sits on display at the Linn County Arts Guild on Main Street. COVID shut down the big turkey pageant this year, but a grant from the Linn County Cultural Coalition allowed the Arts Guild to fill the bill using lasercut turkeys from a Guild member. The turkeys have been distributed, and voting takes place through Oct. 24. There will be member judging as well as people’s choice.
