Twyla Heffron

Twyla Mae Heffron, 72, of Lebanon, passed away Sept. 14, 2026.
She was born July 27, 1954 in Medford to Barbara Jean (Baker) Whipple and Carl Wesley Starr.
Twyla spent most of her childhood in the Bandon coastal areas, and graduated from Bandon High School in 1972. She has lived in Lebanon since 2013.
Some of her hobbies included crocheting, crafting and jigsaw puzzles. She liked to go camping and play computer/video gaming. She also enjoyed reading.
Twyla is survived by her life partner, Carl Hughes of Lebanon; children Edward (Jamie) Turner of Sutherlin, Angela (Joshua) Milburn of Grants Pass, Christopher Osborn of Bradenton, Fla., Tobin (Ashley) Osborn of Wasilla, Alaska, and Joshua (Samantha) Osborn of Sweet Home; siblings Stevanna Starr of Lebanon, Kevin Starr of Tennessee, Mark McAlpine of Lebanon, Teresa Gregory of Lebanon, 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Whipple (2020); father Carl Starr (2016); and brothers Timothy Starr (2025), Wesley Starr (1973) and Darold Starr (1956).
