Friends and supporters gathered at Ralston Park on the evening of March 1 to remember Tammy Hopper, who died Feb. 9 in what authorities suspect was a double murder in Hopper’s home on Shannon Place. Participants in the candlelight vigil described Hpper as a woman who made the world a better place, a kind person who was the life of the party, who had “a huge heart” and would “mama bear” kids and adults alike. “She was caring, funny, crazy, and completely lovable,” said a friend at the vigil. “I’ll miss her humor, laughter, her smile. Rest in peace, dear friend.”
