Volunteers sought for foster care committee

Volunteers are needed for the Citizen Review Board of the Oregon Judicial Department.

These boards review the cases of children in the state’s foster care programs to ensure their permanency and safety, foster accountability, work on system improvement and provide citizen voices and involvement.

They meet one day every month to conduct case reviews, make findings and recommendations.

To become board members, individuals must complete an application, pass a criminal history check, participate in an interview and complete training.
