Beginning Tuesday, June 20, the intersection of 5th Street and Vaughan Lane will be
controlled by flaggers to allow for a city contractor to connect the new sanitary
sewer main on 5th Street to a new manhole in Vaughan Lane.
The work is expected to take a few days. 5th Street south of Vaughan Lane will remain closed to through traffic for the majority of the summer.
Motorists using Vaughan Lane should expect delays for upwards of 20 minutes at a time.
Residents within the impacted area will be afforded reasonable access but should expect
periods of time when access to individual driveways may not be possible in addition to
periodic delays and other construction related inconveniences.
Residents are also encouraged to visit www.ci.lebanon.or.us/gis for continuous updates regarding construction location and current road closures.
