A well-intentioned Sweet Home newcomer, Allen Garnet Tate, turned himself in, confessing – out of fear immigration authorities would get him – that he made illegal entry into the United States two years ago from Vancouver, BC, to Montana. But he might be legal after all, as one or both of his parents are believed to have been from here. Research into his nativity and new immigration laws is underway.
