Parents and supporters of the Lebanon Explosion Dance Team treated their girls to a special send-off on March 15 in preparation for the state championship. Staff from the Lebanon Fire District, Lebanon Police Department and a local motorcycle group paraded the girls through town and to a dinner event downtown.
After winning 14 first place trophies this season, the Lebanon Explosion Dance Team headed to the OSAA Dance Drill State Championship in Salem on March 16. They performed in the pom and jazz competitions, and captured second place in both categories. Also this season, Dance Captain Eva Phillips made the DDCA All-State Dance team.
