7:37 a.m. – Caller reported theft of catalytic converter, Santiam Hwy.
2:24 p.m. – Ronna Lee Hoerauf, 65, was cited for a Linn County warrant for parole violation: contempt. Holly Ann Smith, 39, was cited for Lebanon warrants for parole violation theft III; an Albany warrant for contempt of court; a Linn County warrant for parole violation DUII; and a Linn Supervisory Authority warrant for failure to comply – failure to appear II.
3:34 p.m. – Report taken for theft of boots from store, Santiam Hwy. Loss valued at $130.
5:21 p.m. – Report taken for theft of items from Walmart, valued at $1,487.
10:42 p.m. – Caller reported Devin Houseman may have trespassed at empty apartment. Houseman was seen driving and identified by officer who attempted a traffic stop. Houseman ignored the officer and entered a house. Car was towed for driving while suspended and no insurance. Report taken for eluding on foot, 2nd St.
June 11
10:52 a.m. – Report taken for theft of wallet from shopping cart, Santiam Hwy. Loss valued at $120 cash.
12:17 p.m. – Khilyona Elizabeth Yearsley, 24, was cited for using a cell phone while driving, Airport Rd.
1:17 p.m. – James Ray Jordan, 50, was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, and failure to use a seat belt, J St.
1:55 p.m. – Brian Thomas Mafera, 37, was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, and failure to use a seat belt, Main St.
2:26 p.m. – Abby Sue Walker, 19, was cited for using a cell phone while driving, Santiam Hwy.
2:51 p.m. – Hanna Mae Connelly, 27, was cited for using a cell phone while driving, Division Way.
3:48 p.m. – Isabelle Marie McDonough, 17, was cited for using a cell phone while driving, Airport Rd.
7:29 p.m. – Scott Gabriel Cook, 48, was cited for theft II. Loss valued at $529 from Walmart.
8:43 p.m. – Edmund Alexander, 42, of Sweet Home, taken into custody on warrant, 3100 block Burdell Boulevard. Report taken.
June 12
3:49 a.m. – Owen Daniel Mercier, 24, was charged with hit and run-injury, and interfering with a police officer. He was also cited for driving uninsured and for a Lebanon warrant for parole violation criminal trespass II, and a felony Oregon State Parole board warrant.
5:44 a.m. – Isaiah Lopez-Ramerez, 29, of California, cited for speeding, 94/55, 4900 block Santiam Hwy./Groshong Road.
9:54 a.m. – Caller reported theft of bicycle, Airway. Loss valued at $150.
6:15 p.m. – Deborah P. Upton, 64, was cited for theft III, Santiam Hwy. She said she lost weight and didn’t have enough money to buy clothes that fit. She admitted to placing clearance tag stickers on clothing that fit her. Loss valued at $35.75.
June 13
8:47 a.m. – Non-injury crash reported in 32500 block Denny School Road. Driver Divine Jacabo, 27, of Albany told deputy he had worked double shift and was feeling tired while driving home. Before he could pull over, he nodded off and crashed into ditch. Vehicle struck street sign, fencing and cable box. Property owner was notified of damage and Jacabo arranged for tow truck. No signs of impairment, no crime. Report taken.
12:57 p.m. – Jason Riley Beasley, 47, was cited for a Lebanon warrant for probation violation.
2:04 p.m. – Caller reported a firearm was found by fisherman in South Santiam River near Sanderson’s Bridge, 37000 block Hwy. 226. Seized by Sheriff’s Office as found property. Report taken.
June 14
2:27 a.m. – Extra patrol of Waterloo Park. Only suspicious activity was black-tail doe eating grass. She was warned for entering the park after hours and left without incident.
11:21 a.m. – Christopher Schweikert cited for failure to license dog, 100 block Milton Street.
3:49 p.m. – Michael Allen Shaffer, 63, took a motorized shopping cart from Safeway and drove it to McDonald’s where someone was going to pick him up. He said he was too tired to walk.
8:16 p.m. – Report taken for a chainsaw, two electric wenches and other items from store, Santiam Hwy. Loss valued at $284.
10:17 p.m. – Eric York was charged with trespassing and was cited for Linn County warrants for parole violation possession of heroin, and a Lebanon warrant for theft and trespassing.
June 15
12:33 a.m. – Caller reported theft of gas can from work truck, Kees St.
3:27 a.m. – Caller reported two males were in the middle of the street when she drove by, and one of them pointed a handgun at her, Dodge St.
10:51 a.m. – Morgan Marie Lumpkin, 23, was cited for an Albany warrant for trespassing II.
11:40 p.m. – Crystal Amber Allen, 36, was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, and for a Lebanon warrant for parole violation theft III, Ash St.
June 16
1:47 a.m. – Caller reported subjects having intercourse on the roof of an apartment complex behind them, and are being extremely loud, Jennings St.
7:01 a.m. – Caller reported theft of electrical spiderbox and air hose, Hansard Ave. Loss valued at $530.
9:52 a.m. – Caller reported fuel stolen from 1000 block South 9th Street.
11:27 a.m. – Wesley Pasciak, 23, of Stroudsburg, Pa., cited for speeding, 85/55, 4400 block Santiam Hwy.
12:43 p.m. – Caller reported fraud. Sent money for puppy that ended up being a scam. Report taken. 35100 block Santiam Hwy.
1:14 p.m. – Caller reported theft of four decorative rocks from front yard, Bromil St.
2:18 p.m. – Nicholas Ames, 32, of Jefferson, arrested for violation of restraining order, violation of release agreement and eluding after he ran from traffic stop after, according to Sheriff’s log, he fled into a grass field in 37100 block Rock Hill Drive/Main Road and hid in a grove of trees. He was located with the assistance of a Linn County and Benton County Sheriff’s drone team and an Albany Police Department K9 team, hiding in a tree he had climbed. Taken into custody and lodged at Linn County Jail. Charged with other crimes related to recent incidents.
2:50 p.m. – Nathan Owen Brooksby, 33, was cited for using a cell phone while driving, Airport Rd.
3:18 p.m. – Scott Jason Timm, 49, was cited for using a cell phone while driving, 2nd St.
3:28 p.m. – A juvenile admitted to taking a pole with a handicap sign from the American Legion.
4:11 p.m. – Robert James Larsen, 26, was cited for a Linn County warrant for parole violation reckless driving.
4:24 p.m. – Deputies recovered unoccupied stolen vehicle. Owner was contacted and retrieved vehicle. Investigation continuing. Report taken. 32500 block Berlin Road.
4:30 p.m. – Amanda Grace Eldridge, 24, was cited for using a cell phone while driving, Airport Rd.
5:44 p.m. – Suzanne Gail Wallace was cited for using a cell phone while driving, Elmore St.
5:48 p.m. – Rachell Ann Gandrud, 40, was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, and unauthorized use of a vehicle, 2nd St.
7:09 p.m. – Caller reported several people wearing black shawls near the canal behind Appletree having intercourse. Caller provided photos and video, but officer was unable to identify anyone, and determined caller might be having mental health issues.
7:46 p.m. – Deana Paul, 50, of Lebanon, cited and released on warrant. 200 block Sturtevant Road. Report taken.
8:30 p.m. – Deputies responded to report of suspicious activity in 37100 block Gore Drive. Determined it was patrol of church and individuals involved had permission to be there.
10:05 p.m. – Jory Davis, 37, of Lebanon, cited and released on warrants for failure to appear, fourth-degree assault, and second-degree trespass. Report taken. 600 block Vaughn Lane.
June 17
2:33 a.m. – Ember Ann McAlpin, 37, was cited for a Lebanon warrant for probation violation, and an Albany warrant for theft II.
7:22 a.m. – Lamar Lavonne Wilson, 31, was cited for a felony Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation weapons offense.
9:16 a.m. – Theft reported in 40000 block McDowell Creek Drive, involving unlawful use of motor vehicle. Vehicle and several tools were stolen from the location. Family member suspected, according to Sheriff’s Office. Investigation continuing. Report taken.
4:05 p.m. – Caller reported that her mountain bike, valued at $700, had been stolen from location in 37800 block River Drive during past couple of days. Report taken.
11:23 p.m. – Kenneth Rowe, 54, of Lebanon, cited and released on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant, 30100 block Santiam Hwy.
June 18
1:22 a.m. – Motor vehicle crash reported in 30300 block Fairview Road/McDowell Creek Drive. Driver Allison Brown, 20, Lebanon, was traveling west on Fairview and, according to Sheriff’s log, was moving too fast. Her vehicle went into the gravel and she lost control and hit trees across the road. Passersby assisted Brown until medics arrived and took her to a hospital. Only property damage was to a Linn County road sign, which was impacted in the crash. Report taken.
1:46 a.m. – Katherine Crowell, 30, of Sweet Home, cited and released on multiple warrants, 30300 block Fairview Road/McDowell Creek Drive. Report taken.
1:50 a.m. – Michael Doyle, 50, of Sweet Home, cited and released on multiple warrants, 30300 block Fairview Road/McDowell Creek Drive. Report taken.
2:53 a.m. – Christopher Eihlers Hanson arrested for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, 30500 block Santiam Hwy. Report taken.
5:11 a.m. – Laura Hughes, 45, of Lebanon, cited and released on warrants, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured. 4000 block Santiam Hwy. Report taken.
8:41 a.m. – Caller said she got a call from Publisher’s Clearinghouse stating she won cash and a car. Identified as scam.
9:26 a.m. – Caller said he got a from a man who claimed his grandson was in jail and needed bail money. Identified as scam.
9:42 a.m. – Mail theft reported in 40400 block Hilltop Drive. Report taken.
9:52 a.m. – Richard Leroy Aldridge, 56, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, and cited for an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation sex offense, a Salem warrant for arraignment failure to appear, Albany warrants for driving while suspended, and a Polk County warrant for failure to appear on an original traffic offense.
2:50 p.m. – Deputy contacted two people attempting to park a broken-down motor home in Waterloo Park Day Use Area north of Waterloo Bridge, 3100 block Waterlooo Road. Same motor home had been contacted twice earlier in the month for illegal camping. Noelle Whitter, 27, arrested for contempt of court and cited for driving while suspended. Logan Mendibles, 22, arrested for “numerous” out-of-county warrants, according to Sheriff’s Office. They were told that the motor home must be removed from the county road or it would be tagged as abandoned.
3:48 p.m. – Report taken for theft of books from business, Santiam Hwy. Loss valued at $200.
5:00 p.m. – Vincent Lee Holt, 50, was cited for Lebanon warrants for trespassing II and probation violation, a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of disorderly conduct II, an Albany warrant for trespass II, and a Linn County warrant for parole violation possession of methamphetamine.
7:55 p.m. – Anthony Earl Darby, 33, was cited for a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of methamphetamine.
7:49 p.m. – Kevin Lawrence Walker, 32, was charged with harassment, Grove St.
9:27 p.m. – Caller reported theft of tools from truck, Vaughan Lane Loss valued at $300.
June 19
2:54 a.m. – Donnie Carpenter, 40, of Keizer, cited for driving while suspended, 36500 block Bohlken Drive.
11:05 a.m. – Single-vehicle crash reported in 35300 block Cold Springs Road. Dump truck left roadway and crashed into power pole. No injuries reported. Report taken.
2:56 p.m. – Courtney Foster, 21, of Lebanon, cited for speeding. 77/55, 30700 block Santiam Hwy.
7:43 p.m. – Caller reported someone threw a grape at his car while driving, Franklin St. Second caller reported he threw a cherry at a speeding car and yelled at him to slow down.
9:22 p.m. – Caller reported a male in a truck almost hit a bunch of kids, Franklin St.
10:10 p.m. – Deputy responded to Willamette Speedway to investigate hit and run involving parked car in parking lot. 36600 block West Airport Road. Report taken.
June 20
12:18 a.m. – Utility trailer stolen out of Albany recovered in 31600 block Bellinger Scale Road. Report taken. Vehicle was reported to Albany police as stolen previous day. At the time, the owner did not have much info on the trailer. Trailer was located in a gravel lot where someone called because they thought it was out of place. Trailer will be returned to the owner.
8:50 p.m. – Bryan Lee Schmitt, 42, was cited for an Albany warrant for giving false information to an officer.
June 21
10:03 a.m. – Caller reported theft of Oregon license plate number ZXQ236 from a 2004 Dodge 2500 sometime between June 10 and June 21, while parked in Lebanon or at Green Peter Dam. Report taken.
11:07 a.m. – Caller reported that his property was sprayed despite his “No Spray” signs posted in 39000 block Griggs Drive. Deputy responded and documented information.
11:11 a.m. – Caller reported that someone drove by, throwing something at them as they rode their bike in 38400 block River Drive.
3:00 p.m. – Caller reported rubbish, open storage and possible discarded vehicles in church parking lot at St. Martins. Officer noted 8-10 vehicles with residents, some with personal items stored outside. All were advised to store items inside car.
3:47 p.m. – Caller reported someone used social media to steal her identity, 9th St. Loss valued at $4,500.
6:13 p.m. – Single-vehicle crash reported in 32400 block Steckley Road/Sand Ridge Road. Single occupant uninjured as vehicle went past curve and struck power pole. Damage estimated at approximately $10,000. Report taken.
7:55 p.m. – Rock thrown through window in 39400 block Klum Street. Damage estimated at $150. Report taken.
9:15 p.m. – Caller reported theft of antique shotgun and checks that were delivered by mail. Make and model of shotgun unknown. Described as “rusty and well-used.” Victim claimed former housemates took items. Investigation continuing. Report taken. 34400 block Meridian Road.
June 22
12:55 a.m. – Kasaundra Hails, 32, Albany, cited for driving without insurance. 33600 block Brewster Road/Payne Drive.
2:37 a.m. – Jeffrey Mcnees, 28, of Lebanon, cited and released on several warrants, 2900 block South Santiam Hwy. Report taken.
3:16 a.m. – Ashley Fagan cited and released on Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for second-degree theft. 2900 block South Santiam Hwy.
9:01 a.m. – Stephen Lloyd Borkholder, 42, admitted he took two cans of beer from Knot Hole and was unable to pay for them. It was agreed he would not be allowed at Knot Hole again until he paid for the beers.
11:46 a.m. – Brian Almazan, 29, was cited for distribution of a controlled substance I and II, and tampering with evidence. He was observed as sweating, confused and unconscious, and in possession of a large bundle of blue pills.
1:24 p.m. – Caller reported theft of headphones from Rite Aid. Loss valued at $30.
2:36 p.m. – Ten juveniles were warned for vaping at Ralston Park. Morgan Lumpkin was warned for being in the park.
5:06 p.m. – Report taken for stolen vehicle, which was later recovered.
5:51 p.m. – Jon Julian Robertson, 50, turned himself in for a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear, a Linn County warrant for parole violation arson II, and a Sweet Home warrant for harassment. Cited and released.
6:29 p.m. – Caller reported her Facebook was hacked and her bank account was “drained.” Loss valued at $2,600.
6:37 p.m. – Caller reported she believes her attorney is having people stalk her and will have someone kill her because he took her inheritance and she won’t shut up.
6:59 p.m. – Caller reported he head-butted an unruly customer who was intoxicated, Main St. Jerrime Jarome Urban, 42, was cited for disorderly conduct II and trespassing II.
7:52 p.m. – Caller reported loud music coming from a vehicle at the skate park, and she was not able to hear her own TV.
11:17 p.m. – Caller reported his neighbor “George” told him he didn’t appreciate him hanging out with his wife, Main St. Caller said if “George” comes back, he will put a zip tie around his neck, and police will have to shoot him.
June 23
1:59 a.m. – Amanda Binks, 28, of Sweet Home, arrested on Albany and Lebanon municipal court warrants. Tony Roebuck, 29, of Sweet Home/Tangent arrested on Linn County Circuit Court warrant, transported to Linn County Jail. Grant and Main streets. Report taken.
9:24 a.m. – Caller reported theft of utility trailer full of trash, Robbins Way. Trailer was later recovered at the Cheadle boat ramp. Wheels and tires were missing. Owner provided surveillance vehicle of it being stolen.
9:45 a.m. – Christian James Coleman, 22, was cited for a Lebanon warrant for parole violation criminal mischief II.
9:59 a.m. – Heather Lee Elmer, 28, was cited for a Lane Country parole and probation warrant for parole violation amphetamine possession, a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of heroin, an Albany warrant for contempt of court, and a Lebanon warrant for parole violation driving while suspended.
10:01 a.m. – Caller reported theft of catalytic converter from bus at Head Start, Market St.
12:56 p.m. – Caller reported a male rode past her daughters, ages 12-14, on a bicycle and then turned around and waited outside the Weldwood condo gates where they had entered. Caller picked up her girls and provided a photo of the suspect for identification.
2:42 p.m. – Caller reported Morgan Lumpkin tried to take his baby from him while at Strawberry Plaza. He said she stared at his kids, so he picked up his baby and she reached for it. She said the baby was crying and he said he didn’t want it, so she told him she would take it.
3:12 p.m. – Caller reported couches and a chair have been left on curb, 9th St. Public Works was notified to dispose of them.
4:33 p.m. – Krystal Darlene Dingman, 35, was cited for speeding (40/25), Main St.
7:08 p.m. – Caller reported theft of beer, Santiam Hwy. Officer contacted Lloyd Borkholder, 76, who said he drove Stephen L. Borkholder, 42, to station with $10 to buy cigarettes. Lloyd did not know Stephen took beer. He returned to pay for the beer.
8:25 p.m. – David Patrick Gilpin, 39, was cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Santiam Hwy.
9:02 p.m. – David Patrick Gilpin, 39, was cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Franklin St.
June 24
8:03 a.m. – Report taken for theft of concrete saw and gas can, damage to excavator locks, Market St. Loss valued at $200.
9:18 a.m. – Report taken for theft of pressure washer, Santiam Hwy. Loss valued at $189.
9:43 a.m. – Caller reported $2,500 in fraudulent charges to her debit card.
11:07 a.m. – Caller reported Morgan Lumpkin was exposing herself to passing cars, Park St. Officer advised Lumpkin to put her shirt on or risk being arrested for disorderly conduct.
11:46 a.m. – Single-vehicle crash in 33500 block Brewster Road. Further details unavailable.
2:23 p.m. – Dustin Andrew Clarneau, 46, was cited for a Brownsville warrant for parole violation contempt, an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation sexual assault, and a Lebanon warrant for probation violation.
4:20 p.m. – Carl E. Johnson, 36, was cited for driving while suspended, Santiam Hwy.
7:29 p.m. – Report taken for missing/stolen wallet from Walmart shopping cart.
9:41 p.m. – Caller reported he was walking his dog when a driver took his photo and told him to leave his family alone, Wagon Wheel Dr. Caller does not know the person.
11:12 p.m. – Caller reported Morgan Lumpkin was in the middle of the road and pulling her pants down, Main St.
June 25
1:36 a.m. – Stephen Scantlin, 48, and Hali Harris, 31, both of Lebanon, trespassed from property, issued citations in lieu of custody for outstanding warrants. 31900 block Sand Ridge Road. Report taken.
9:35 a.m. – Rick Jordan Maas, 42, was cited for a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of methamphetamine.
10:08 a.m. – Avery William Freeman, 25, was cited for a Linn County warrant for failures to appear on criminal citations and an original charge of robbery III, theft III, assault IV.
10:39 a.m. – Caller reported 80-year-old mother had walked away from home in 38600 block Green Drive and was missing. Deputies and fire personnel arrived and were able to locate the woman a short time later.
11:29 a.m. – Caller from Wells Fargo reported Gambler 500 cars were parked in their parking lot and not leaving spaces for customers.
11:36 a.m. – Caller reported subjects were setting fire to garbage on Grove Street bridge. Officer contacted Morgan Lumpkin who was lighting pine needles. He seized drug paraphernalia from her.
1:57 p.m. – Report taken for theft of wallet and attempted theft of debit funds. Loss valued at $50.
3:01 p.m. – Cory Jordan Calahan, 30, was cited for using a cell phone while driving, Airport Rd.
3:17 p.m. – Daniel Allen Ferguson, 27, was cited for using a cell phone while driving, failure to carry proof of insurance, and an Albany warrant for theft II.
4:21 p.m. – Aaron Ralph Wolgamott, 45, was cited for using a cell phone while driving, Airport Rd.
4:38 p.m. – Taylor Michell Rash, 23, was cited for using a cell phone while driving, Airport Rd.
4:55 p.m. – Lerae Nicholle Ruck, 20, was cited for operating a vehicle without a valid instruction permit without a licensed driver in the vehicle, and a Union County warrant for failures to appear on criminal citations and theft III.
5:36 p.m. – Victoria L Shelton, 19, was cited for using a cell phone while driving, 5th St.
6:50 p.m. – Earl Spalding Jr. was cited for trespassing, 2nd St.
7:11 p.m. – Caller reported she was messaging through Instagram with a male she does not know, and he threatened to rape and kill her. Information documented.
10:32 p.m. – Melannie Leanne Ader, 32, was cited for a Linn County felony warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.
June 26
3:48 a.m. – Jack Counts was cited for a Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation.
1:12 p.m. – Caller reported a female crying and hiding in bushes with her clothing ripped off, and a male was with her, Grant St. Officer contacted Morgan Lumpkin, who would not explain why she was crying. Male could not be found.
1:44 p.m. – Caller reported theft of $20 in gas, Santiam Hwy. Joseph C. Simas, 33, claimed he paid for the gas in cash, and left. Officer contacted Simas and acquired the money from him, though Simas continued to claim he already paid for it.
3:13 p.m. – Report taken for theft of two firearms, ammo and bluetooth speaker from vehicle, Sherman St.
3:32 p.m. – Caller reported fraudulent charges from his debit card through a Chipotle app. Loss valued at $156, but Chipotle refunded the money.
8:26 p.m. – Caller reported a male was lying face down on the sidewalk and yelling, near Jack’s Market.
8:56 p.m. – Caller reported two juveniles spray painted the back of the old Centurytel building, 2nd St. Information documented.
June 27
12:05 a.m. – Caller reported hit and run. Vehicle went off rod in 38400 block River Drive/Perkins Drive, hit a school bus turnaround sign. Operators gone prior to deputy’s arrival. No witnesses.
3:54 a.m. – Deputy responded to 9-1-1 hangup call in 33100 block Berlin Road. No answer at door, no sign of forced entry. Sheriff’s Office reports history of similar 9-1-1 hangups at this location.
11:58 a.m. – Caller reported theft of bicycle, Mullins Dr.
12:33 p.m. – Ivan James Robison, 24, was cited for driving uninsured and driving while suspended, Truman St.
12:58 p.m. – Doyal G. Byrd was cited for driving while suspended, Oak St. He was seen moments later driving again.
1:22 p.m. – Jacob Daniel Graves, 21, was cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 8th St.
1:55 p.m. – Arlynn Ray Cantrell, 61, was cited for driving while suspended, and a Linn County warrant for failure to appear.
3:38 p.m. – Daniel Arthur Pearson, 16. was cited for driving uninsured, Grant St.
9:49 p.m. – Caller reported public restroom was vandalized and Morgan Lumpkin refused to leave, Grant St. Lumpkin was cited with trespassing.
9:58 p.m. – Report taken for theft of items from storage unit, Laredo. Someone cut locks off her units, went through her things, moved some items to an empty unit, and put new locks on her units.
June 28
1:06 a.m. – Caller reported a female was pepper sprayed by a male, Santiam Hwy. Witnesses said a male approached Ashley Marie Coats, 35, said “This is for stealing my car,” and pepper sprayed her.
10:24 a.m. – Caller reported theft of wallet near river where he was fishing, Grant St.
12:48 p.m. – Report taken for theft of blue tooth boom box from business, Santiam Hwy. Loss valued at $676.
5:25 p.m. – Caller reported juveniles dented her car, threatened her children, and sexually harassed her by using “the F word.” Officer determined it was all a misunderstanding; juveniles did not dent car, and they got defensive when caller yelled at them.
7:16 p.m. – Report taken for theft of three phones, lawn mower, video cameras and clothes, C St. Loss valued at $1,543.
June 29
